Family Bible
Create an account
- Open the app and go to Sign Up.
- Enter your email and password, then tap Create Account.
- You will be guided through profile setup, then join a family with an email invite or family code, or create your own.
Complete your profile
On the onboarding screen (Complete Your Profile), fill in:
- Display Name — how your family sees you on recordings and activities
- Bio — a short description (optional but helpful for family context)
- Birthday
- Family Relation — e.g. parent, grandparent, child
- Role — choose how you primarily use the app:
- Recorder — you will focus on recording verses
- Listener — you will focus on listening
- Both — you record and listen (most common)
Tap Save and Continue when finished.
Default settings
New accounts start with sensible defaults:
- Bible translation: Berean Standard Bible (BSB)
- Recording scope: record your own copy of every verse
- Default record point: continue from your last recorded chapter
- Default listen point: resume where you last listened
- Notifications: new recordings on, Daily digest frequency
You can change all of these later in Profile.
